Barca-Leeds' Better Together team worked in partnership with the Armley Local Care Partnership to produce a Recipe Station cookbook that features 12 low-cost recipes for cooking at home as well as tips and information on good food hygiene, shopping on a budget, and how to cook in a fuel-efficient way.

The Better Together team has also worked collaboratively with local services and venues to distribute the cookbook locally for people to pick up a copy and try out a recipe at home. A digital version of the cookbook can be downloaded below.
The Better Together team at Barca-Leeds deliver local Recipe Stations across West Leeds. The West Leeds Recipe Station was set up by the team in 2019 to support healthy cooking at home on a budget. Each week, the team distribute free recipe station bags containing a recipe card and the ingredients to cook a healthy meal where every meal costs no more than £2 to recreate. This provides an opportunity to try a new, tasty recipe at home.
