Emotional Wellbeing Service

Barca-Leeds' Emotional Wellbeing Service provided early intervention and prevention support for young people aged 8 to 17 years old in West Leeds.

Who is the service for?

We delivered one-to-one support and small group work to support children and young people to improve their emotional wellbeing and manage their risk taking behaviours.

Some of the areas in which we supported young people were:

  • Managing feelings and behaviour
  • Friendships
  • Confidence and self-esteem
  • Family relationships
  • Anxiety
  • Isolation

This service ended on 31 December 2022.

Emotional Wellbeing Service featured on BBC Radio Leeds

Barca-Leeds' Emotional Wellbeing service was delighted to be featured on BBC Radio Leeds, highlighting our work with BBC Children In Need.

The show spoke to Chloe and Rhys, along with Emotional Wellbeing Worker Hannah, about their experiences with our service.

'I'm now focusing on my future and making it the way I want it to be!'
