Children and young people impacted by parental drug and alcohol use aged 5 to 16 years old who live in Inner West Leeds.
Direct referrals are accepted from agencies as well as referrals from Cluster Support and Guidance Meetings.
Families can self-refer.
The service provides practical support for children and young people, as well as interventions that aim to improve emotional health and wellbeing.
The team delivers a range of positive family experiences including:
Using one to one, whole family and group work methods, the service creates a nurturing space where young people can make new friends, build confidence and share experiences.
"Mostly I have been able to socialise a lot more than I could before, get out a lot more, seeing new people. It gives me an opportunity in school to be myself, a safe space to talk ... the nights [I have been to] group, I sleep better."
